The 6-week class for anybody who is new (or newish) to painting and wants to learn painting basics like color theory, color mixing, how to use painting tools, composition, space, figure & portrait painting. This is also a good class for people who are returning to painting after a spell and want help getting their painting muscles working again.

Every week of this 6-week adult class in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn, will focus on one one element of painting and every week we will find inspiration in the work of various artists from art history and contemporary art.

Learn how to paint, make friends, enjoy a glass of wine or sparkling water and put down your phone!

Cost: $300 includes canvases and paper, brushes and palettes. Participants are expected to buy their own paint.

When: Monday nights, 7:00-9:00
