Monday August 12th Playing With Color - Going Wild with Arbitrary Color

Monday August 12th Playing With Color - Going Wild with Arbitrary Color

$55.00

When Henri Matisse painted the famous portrait of his wife, Woman in the Hat, he rocked the art world by replacing the colors of the natural world with all kinds of unnatural colors.

For this class we experiment with replacing the colors we see on the objects and people around us with new, more complicated, color combinations. We will dig deep on warm and cool colors to decide what colors to use where.

This isn’t a great class for painters with no painting experience, but it is a wonderful class for people who are just learning how to paint or who have painted for a while.

When: Monday, August 12th, 7-9

Where: The Painting School Brooklyn, 65 Woodhull Street
